A Birthday Scene

Hello all! It's Delphine here today to share some birthday inspiration! I've made a little scene that I framed and thought could make a nice present. Very simple, 100% Copics - as often!

Last year, I made the same kind of scene using 3 Tildas, I thought it would be nice to try it with different characters, so here they are! For this scene, I have merged 4 digital images by CC Designs - from left to right Birgitta Blowing Hearts, Bouquet Birgitta, Balloon Lucy and Presents on which Bouquet Birgitta is sitting - and the sentiment is by Magnolia. Here are my characters one by one with the Copics I used for each...

Have a Happy Day

Morning Crafters,

I needed to make a Birthday card for a fellow blogger and this little lady by Magnolia is just perfect.  I have used some of my favourite papers by Inkido and as butterflies are amongst the pink paper I have continued the theme using a combination of the Tim Holtz on the edge die, a magnolia doohickey and a Martha Stewart Punch.

The postcard text is again another stamp by Magnolia.

Copics Recipe:-
Skin E00, E01,  E000, E11
C1, C00
R83, RV10, RV000
E25, E31, E50
Background was using BG10, BG000 and a touch of RV10 and the colourless blender

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs Tracy x

chocolate...

 Hello everyone!
This is Kathrin here today sharing a card I made:

I used sweet Tilda with Icecream for this one and she was colored in browns only. So, can you guess that I had chocolat in mind when I did my coloring? LOL

When I colored the icecream I wanted to get it look like it's different tastes. And so I made a dark brown, light brown and a yellow-ish brown ball.

The saying starts at the front with "no matter.." and ends inside of the card:

"what the question is, the answer is chocolate!". And if you open the card you also see why this is not only fitting the front of the card and image but also the inside: There are 3 pockets that each contain a small chocolate.
The card is made using my Cameo Silhouette and a cutting file bought from their site. I just love it!

And these are the Copics I used for the coloring:

Skin: E13, E11, E51, E30, E000
Cheeks: R22, R20
Dress and Shoes: R39, R37, R35, R33, R31
Hair: R49, R57, R35, R31, R50
Yellowish Icecream: E53, YR30, E50
Middle Icecream: E43, E42, E41

Have a lovely day everyone!

I love blonde hair!

Hello, dear Copic fans,
As you may have noticed, blonde is one of my favourite hair colours when it comes to colouring with Copics. That was very different when I started using Copics in 2010, I hated blonde hair and never coloured  hair that way. That changed, when I learned how my former CME-teammate Hanne from Norway colours blonde hair and I realised, that my mistake was that I tried to use yellow for blonde. Now I only use E-tones as E50, E51, E53 and E31 and am very, very fond of this.

For this card, I have chosen the paper first - as usual. It is from the 6x6 paper pad "Walking in the forest" from Maja Design, my favourite paper brand at the moment.
I coloured the swirls and the pearls with B99 to make them match the paper, too.
The stamp is from Sugar Nellie's Homegrown Collection.
Copics I used:
Skin: E50, E51, E01
Hair: E50, E51, E53, E31
Jeans: B95, B97, B99
Blouse: B95, B97, E31
Shoes: E35, E37, W7
Shadows: W1, W3, W5, W7

So, give blonde a try, it is lovely!
Big Hugs

Friends are Angels

Hello dear all Copic friends,

It’s Cinzia here, just  sharing  with you the new card  I made for Copic Marker Europe blog.
This  time I used a Saturated Canary image, they’re all so pretty fine! I choose one of the almost last ones, a little girl praying angels, and please look at it, hasn’t she got a very lovely little face?
So the girl’s look  inspired  me to use round shapes in the layout, all the swirls should strengthen this idea.

The SC image is called “Angel among us”, the sentiment is computer generated, the papers are by LOVT the “Promises” collection. The dies – I used many ones but I love them so much!! - are by Cheery Lynn “Fanciful Flourish” and ”French Pastry Doily”, Memory Box “Floral Vine”, Magnolia Doohickeys “Wings” and “So wrapped lovely” and Tim Holtz “On The Edge Die – Distressed Doily”.

Here is a close up of the colored image:

And now a close up of some details…

Hello everybody Copic fans!

I tried to make lot of folders on boy's trousers because i imagined they were too large for him!

I made a circle card again, i thought this shape would work well for this image; i added some rolled roses and a pair of Magnolia's cutouts, i immediately thought that lamp was just perfect for this two cuties!

This is a close up to the butterfly charm, i used some Frantage to give it a vintage look

Café de Paris

Hi Copic Lovers,

For a couple of days all the white has melt and some true colours appeared :)
So the "ink" of my Copics is running wild in a springlike scenery at Paris (Digi-Stamp by Make it Crafty), where a sweet mouse couple walks along (Digi-Stamp by Whiff Of Joy)...
LOVE is in the air.
I've added the mouse couple digi to the background digi using Photoshop Elements Software.
Then printed out, cut to 13,5 x 13,5 cm and started colouring.

To colur this image for my card
I've used my Copic Sketch Markers Nr.:
YG01 / YG17 / Y35 / B91 / B93 / R21 / R22 / R24 / R27 / R29 /
E000 / E41 / E42 / E43 / E44 / E47 / E49 /
W00 / W0 / W1 / W2 / W3 / W5 / W6 / N0 / N2 / N4 / N6 / N8

Wish you a happy weekend,
Angie
