Happy Holidays

Good day to all dear Copic fansI'm Sandra and I am here today to show you my new card in Christmas theme.
It 's the first greeting card that I realize this year but it will be the first of a long series.
For this new project I chose to color the digi stamp "Gingerbread House" from The Paper Shelter.
The character of this  stamp is really very, very specialIn fact it is a very sweet Gingerbread which is decorating his little house for Christmas holidays.
The whole scene is full of details "sweet and deliciousthat make us think at Christmas , and the little house made of gingerbread and icing, it is really cute and beautiful?
To remain faithful as possible to realityfor the coloring I chose to use mainly the colors of the family EThen I go with bright colors of the family R and BG and the result is very special and with an particular effect.
To finish my card I use bazzil, Graphic 45 pattern paper, Lawn Fawn clear stamp and a star edge die (sorry but I don't remember from which company).
I hope my new project like you, but first  to greet you I want  to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have organize  the Copic Event that was held last week in Wiesbaden.
And of course greet all ladies "Instructor" present at the Meeting that made it fantastic and unforgettable.
Thanks for having me followed.
Sandra

Carousel

Hello everyone!

It's Vili here today and I want to show you one of my most favourite things connected to the childhood and to which I still feel a special gentleness.
The circus theme makes me turn back in time and surround myself with merry-go-rounds and ice-cream.
Maybe for this reason or maybe because of the colourful paper block,
while making a card for one little sweetie, who will turn 5 soon,
I was so inspired I decided to surprise her with one more pied subject.
So, because I wanted everything to be finished and full, I decorated a box, too, where the wonderment will be put.
The natural choice of stamp was Fair Carousel, combinated with Make It Crafty's Frenchie Claudine.
Of course, everything had to be childishly colourful and enjoyable,
so I prefered a combination of bright pink, red, and light blue, with some white accents added.
Here is what I got:

This is the card for the little pumpkin:

And that is what is hiding in the box:

I decided to surpise the birthday girl with an album,
where to put all the photos from the birthday party:

This time I changed my usual decorations - in the end of the edge I put a band of balls,
I thread some hearts on a leather tape and find a place for one really nice clown:

The album has 12 inner pages and its size is 21 to 21 cm.
I added a big pocket and 12 more carton pages, where, besides photos to be put,
a description can be added, too.

And this is the whole set fot the little princess:

These are the B-Day invitations which I made to look as curcus tickets:

Colouring Red using E29 for Shading

Hi Everyone,

Tracy here.  I thought with Christmas around the corner I would show you how I colour red using E29 for the shading.

The image is by Mo Manning.  Today I'm using R35, R37, RV29 and E29 for the shading.

As the mushroom is round both the left and the right side will be shadowed.

Start with R35 and lay down some colour.

Add some shadow on the left and under the spots using R37

Blend out using the R35 again

Using E29 lay down some shadows remembering to shadow under the white circles and along the edge.

Using the R37 and this time work away from the where the E29 ends and colour towards the E29.  This will ensure that you don't pick up the E29 and drag it out.  We want to create deep shadows to give your image definition.

To ensure you don't pick up the E29 you can swipe your marker after each stroke onto a scrap piece of paper.

Blend out using R35 to give a smooth gradient.

Create shadows over the new white circles and the edge of the mushroom.

Lay down some R37 under the E29.

Add RV29 under the R37

Blend out using R35

Repeat the process on the right had side starting once again with R35.

Reds: R35, R37, RV29, E29
Skin V20, E000, E00, E11, E3 and R20/R22 for bush
Dress and Flower RV99, RV95, RV93, RV000
Inside mushroom W9, W7, W5, W1, W00

Hugs Tracy x
